Responsible for managing Collection Support function and activities for UAE Collections & Recoveries covering -- Lead a High Performing Collection Support team- Governance and Updation of all Collection & Recovery Strategies, DOIs and Manuals in line with Group standards, Country Laws and Regulations.- Ensure Adherence to all applicable Group Policies and Process Standards, document Gap analysis, and raise Dispensations as appropriate- Operation Risk Framework tracking, reporting and adherence- Quality Assurance check implementation, exception tracking and resolution- Collection Cost Management- Collections & Recoveries Capacity plan and associated deficiencies if any is proactively highlighted- Timely Submission of all Group/Regional/Country Collection reports- Ensure adherence by Scope on all aspects relevant to Ops support and proper documentation in SLA. Timely highlighting and resolution of exceptions.- End to end Reconciliations including Cost, Suspense account and Inventory. Timely exception reporting and resolution.- Oversee timely processing of Agency and Staff payments- Ensure appropriate system access assigned to all Collection staff in line with role and timely completion of Manager Access Review by all collection staff- Risk Information Report ownership and tracking for Collections- Ensure all CSTs/KCI/Group Policies/ L&C gaps relating to Specialized Collection are mitigated swiftly.- Responsible for appropriate empowerment of authorities to managers in Collection, to facilitate the expeditious and effective execution of daily duties.- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. - Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
