Job title : Project Manager, Fintech Job Function : Information Technology and Operations Location : Dubai Reporting to : Programme Director, ITO, AME
Job Description * To project manage the activities arising out of various Fintech initiatives that the AME region is working on with focus on co-ordination with the chosen Fintech entrepreneurs and other partners, including co-ordination for development and deployment of frameworks covering: project governance, testing, interface definitions, change prioritization, quality of change, system parameter and code setup and training.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
* Co-ordinate the various Fintech initiative activities arising out of Bank's participation in the DIFC led accelerator programme * Work with and support the coaches in progressing the tasks to determine the opportunities * Co-ordinate with various Fintech entrepreneurs and support evaluation of business opportunities including scoring of various approaches and ideas * Scan the market for similar initiatives and develop market information and intelligence * Formulate Testing Model: covering interface testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing and user verification testing. * Recommend a Model Country Testing approach and deploy a hybrid model of centralized and in-country testing for the initiatives shortlisted for further evaluation/implementation * Co-ordinate preparation of change validation checklist and ensure that is deployed to validate every change before approving the change. * Organize Training as appropriate * Communicate weekly status report to senior stakeholders in AME. Qualifications and Skills * Bachelor/Master Degree with 3+ years' experience in multiple phases of the project lifecycle, preferably with exposure to Fintech industry * Good knowledge of project management processes * Able to take ownership of issues/tasks and apply project management best practices * Ability to create effective work relationships across businesses, organisation & borders * Senior stakeholder engagement and management experience * Focused, organised, results-oriented and works independently to strict timeframes * Good presentation and excel skill Key Relationships * Coaches for Fintech initiative * Country and Regional CIO as applicable * Country and Regional operations teams * Regional Change team
