Executive Assistant to CEO

Purpose of the role:

Serve as the administrative and functional point person for the Chairmanís corporate, community and personal matters to ensure smooth functioning of activities and processes in multiple lines of business

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure efficient and effective support to the Chairman in all his activities
  • Demonstrate impeccable phone skills with accuracy and good judgment in handling messages/callers
  • Efficiently prepare documents/presentations where audience will be senior management, Board of Directors, key customers, and/or outside organizations utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project software
  • Maintain extensive calendars, provide reminders as appropriate, and make complex travel arrangements (business and personal)
  • Communicate directly, and on behalf of the CEO, with clients, vendors and employees on routine matters
  • Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle documents and sensitive, confidential information with discretion, diplomacy and integrity; ensure action/attention required is completed
  • Performing other duties as assigned.† The Executive Assistant should understand there is no job too big or too small, and approach this career in that manner

Requirements:

  • Must be willing to relocate to the middle east
  • 10+ years of administrative experience required; at least 5 five years of experience supporting a C-Level executive
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the proven ability to proofread and effectively edit documents
  • Highly organized, responsive, efficient, independent and proactive in a very fast paced environment
  • Strong experience in event planning for business events with high profile guests
  • Strong sense of urgency and desire to provide support to management
  • Command presence/professional demeanor
  • Strong computer and analytical skills, utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; Microsoft Project preferred

The successful candidate will be a highly organized and energetic self-starter requiring little direction and must be capable of handling interfaces with top management personnel inside and outside the company in a very professional manner
